Spirit River Distribution is a national distributor with sales representatives in select cities in Canada, which at present include Calgary & South, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Vancouver, and Winnipeg While our strength is in Western Canada we do have accounts with record stores across the country. The sales reps present the new releases and catalogue titles to the stores and encourage sales. They become familiar with the music by listening to the play copies provided from our stock, and they attend live shows as they are able and providing they are granted a guest pass or listed on the guest list for the shows.

We accept professionally manufactured product on compact discs, cassette tapes, DVD, and clothing on a consignment basis from the artist/artist representative. Proper packaging must include a product code, bar code and shrink wrap. We can assist with referrals and information for the acquisition of these.

We depend on the artist to create the demand for their product we can assist with in-store promotion and some co-op advertising BUT if the public is unaware of your name and your CDs it won t matter how many copies we manage to get into the stores they will not sell just by being there.
